Various types of safaris available are as under
Normal Three Hours Safari: –
Two Type of vehicles are available for Normal Three Hours Safari Canter Gypsy As per the requirement/convenient of the guests, Canter and Gypsy both can be booked either Exclusive or on Seat sharing basis. In case an Exclusive vehicle is required, the guest Needs to pay for the complete vehicle. The seating capacity for the Gypsy is Six Tourist and For a canter is Twenty Tourist.
Half Day Safari: -
In Half day safari, the strength allowed in one Gypsy is of Five Guests . Half Day safari operates in Two Shifts. One in the morning at Sunrise and the second is in the afternoon. Both has the duration of approximately Six Hours. The advantage of Half day safari is that the guest gets more time in the forest and also the zone flexibility. During half day safari the vehicle can go to any zone without any restriction. These six hours are divided in Two parts as far as zone moment is concerned. During Morning Safari, first three hours the guest can explore any zone between 1-10 and second half between zones 6-10.
Full Day Safari: -
Like Half day safari, the strength allowed in one Gypsy is of Five Guests. The duration of full day safari is from Sunrise to Sunset. As compared to half day safari which is for approx. Six hours, the guest gets approx. 12 hrs in the forest. For The first Three hours and last three hours the guest can go to any zone between 1 -10 and in the middle hours between zones 6-10.
Tatkal Safari: -
As the name suggests, its for last minute safari deciders. In case the safari is not available under normal quota, Tatkal is another option for safari. Under this Tatkal quota, an additional fee of Rs. 10000/= per vehicle is applicable over and above the normal safari charges. This additional fee is used for activities related to the conservation of wildlife. Its important to note that number of vehicles are limited under all categories and safari is subject to availability. So it’s always better to book the safari in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Information related to Ranthambhore Safari
- The Government of Rajasthan reserves the right of admission to the National Park
- The park may be closed without prior notice to visitors
- Once the booking is confirmed, no refund/cancellation is allowed.
- Bookings are non-transferable. Names once booked can’t be changed as per the guidelines. In case Any change in name, a new seat is to be booked and adjusting the new seat in the same vehicle is not guaranteed.
- Providing ID proof is essential to enter the Park. In case the ID given during the time of booking is renewed, the copy of old ID and new Id are to be produced upon demand of the forest officials at the time of entering the park.
- In case of any change in the Ticket amount by the Forest authorities, the guest has to bear the difference of the cost.
- There is no charge for still cameras however the fees for the Video camera is Rs. 900/= each camera for Foreigners and Rs. 600/= for Indian nationals. The fee change is at the discretion of the forest department and the Guest needs to pay this fee directly at the entry point.
- Any changes in policies by the Ranthambhore Park authorities will be intimated to visitors and will be applicable for all future bookings
